The Art of Perception was founded by Zeena Hicks, in 2017 with the aim to help individuals and organisations move away from the dogma and restraints that modern society imposes and to create a new movement built on an unrestricted lens of inclusivity, kindness and the belief in the power of a positive conscious mind.

Having spent over 20 years as a senior leader in marketing, communications and education, Zeena became fascinated with the ease in which people allow themselves to be influenced and controlled by people, ideas, things and events external to themselves, losing their free will without noticing. She went on to study and research the power of the subconscious mind on health, wealth, and wellbeing for over a decade, later completing a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, and discovered first-hand how she could tap into and bypass the cognitive process that has most people stuck in a process of automation, with very little control of their decisions and outcomes.
