What is Coaching?
Coaching is an approach that supports an individual or business through a process of development and change, increasing confidence, heightening self-awareness and maximising potential. Traditionally coaching was associated with top athletes who used a coach to improve their performance and break through barriers, but over the years coaching has become valuable in all areas of peoples’ lives, both personally and professionally.  

The benefits of coaching are plentiful with studies showing that having a coach can help you enjoy life balance, build courage, and gain clarity of purpose. It can improve health and wellbeing, enhance relationships, accelerate your career, and help you achieve big hairy audacious goals in any area of your life!

We offer every potential client a free 45 minute discovery call to ensure we are the right fit before embarking on any programme. We are also one of the few organisations to offer a break in the contract, should you find three sessions in, that coaching is not working for you. We have though yet to come across anyone who has used this!

What Types of Coaching do we do?
It may help to distinguish the types of coaching out there and which might work for you, especially if there are a number of areas in your life you need support with.

Positive Psychotherapy Coaching
Positive Psychotherapy Coaching is an area that focuses on the individual and offers a more sustainable approach to change. Using a blend of neuroscience and positive psychology interventions to uncover any hidden blocks which might be holding you back to build self-awareness, gain clarity and embed new positive habits and goals. This holistic approach is developed around each individual, and can be used to help with improving self-confidence, life direction, relationships, career development, parenting, health, wellbeing and financial success.

Executive Coaching
Whilst Executive Coaching usually focuses on improving self-awareness, increasing performance and enhancing peer relationships within the working environment, It also accelerates personal growth, enhancing work-life balance, time management and general wellbeing. The coaching process offers executives a dedicated space to ‘think’ and set some clear actionable goals, becoming more productive and time efficient. We work both with individuals and companies depending on your requirements.

Leadership Coaching
Working with CEOs and those new to Leadership, we help individuals become better managers, improving connections with their team, boosting employee engagement, and increasing retention and productivity. Leaders will acquire a bespoke toolkit to enhance decision making, using a blend of psychology methodology and business practice, remaining sensitive to organisational systems and culture. Many leaders also use this type of coaching to learn the skills for public speaking and deliver more effective presentations. Our compassionate leadership programmes aim to create kinder work environments to improve interdepartmental relationships, supporting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and boosting overall performance.

Business Coaching
A Business Coach will support an individual or team to improve personal performance, internal communications and identify clear areas for business development. Using a blend of mentoring and coaching to guide and advise, you will expand your toolkit to refine business processes and promote collaborate working. Depending on your requirements, we can also offer support with effective external communications to enhance relationships with your customers and increase revenue.

Health Coaching
Health Coaching is based on behaviour change theory to reduce stress, anxiety and poor mental or physical health. This is a person-centred approach, which offers concepts, tools and processes to improve mental agility, fitness, diet and lifestyle. We also work with individuals who find they need additional help alongside medical treatment, or where they feel traditional medicine is not working. All our health coaching programmes are supported by our signature mindfulness online course.

Individual Coaching

All our coaching programmes are bespoke to the individual or campany. We require a minimum of three months commitment, to ensure we maximise your potential and build lasting positive habits. An example eight-step framework, over a three-month period might contain the following:

 

Example Framework

Following the initial free consultation to explore expectations, and assess mutual confidence and optimum interpersonal dynamics, a plan might contain something similar to this:

  • Groundwork: Identify limiting beliefs and barriers to success. Understand the current landscape and shape future goals. Set the foundation for success.

  • Planning: Formulate the ultimate plan of action over the next year in four steps.

  • Time: Explore the true meaning given to time and your relationship to it. Introduction to the Time Management Matrix and hierarchy of focus.

  • Relationships: Uncover the real relationship with yourself and others.

  • Balance: Reflecting on your journey so far, explore the 80:20 principle and build a strategy for being more effective with your time, to develop an improved work-life balance.

  • Repositioning: Get crystal clear on who and what you want to be and take actionable steps towards achieving it

  • Control: Map where you are on the ‘Control Continuum’ and break through the glass ceiling to future success

  • Moving Forward: Reflect and analyse your journey. Revise your annual plan and set positive triggers for continues success.

This should be used as a guide only as all programmes are mapped out and discussed with each client.
